There was only one projector so while the operator changed the films, he slipped in slides advertising the various merchants wares. Today the theater is a real estate office.

Preventing Test Anxiety
Tests are important as they may measure a basic skill or can affect a year's grade. If it measures the ability to learn, it can affect a child's placement in school. The ability to do well on tests can help throughout life in such things as getting a driver’s license, trying out for sports, or getting a job.

Your Stanwood Chronicles: The Stillaguamish River was a huge part of Stanwood’s early history. Two steamboats were built in the boatyard on the waterfront in 1907 and 1912. Steamboats and the railroad competed to ship products out of East Stanwood and Stanwood. Farmers stored grains at the warehouse on the riverfront for steamboats to pick up and deliver.
