READER'S WORKSHOP
The new Readers Workshop Forum that meets every Wednesday from 2:30 - 4:00 has met with overwhelming success! With a combination of students in each grade level, it has been a wonderful opportunity for students to meet other book-a-holics they might not have otherwise known. Readers Workshop is a time for students to gather and read, share, and listen. But that’s not all we do. In the six meetings that we have had this year, we have also previewed new library books, swapped books with each other, performed readers theater, told stories, gone to a movie, and more! Everyone, regardless of reading ability is enthusiastically invited to join us. Whether one is searching for more time to read, a new group of friends, a place to become a better reader, or any combination, Readers Workshop is the place.
See the library for more information and a schedule for November & December meetings.
