Stanwood Middle School TSA is sponsoring a Donation Drive to benefit Cocoon House, a teen and family shelter that serves Snohomish County. They are in desperate need of full-size bottles of shampoo, body wash, shaving cream, new warm hats, new socks (not wool), regular new gloves, toiletries that teens and adults use, and other items are also welcome. If you are able, please drop off donations in the cafeteria or in Mrs. Brown's shop until February 13th. Let's help our fellow students in Snohomish County and their families if you are able. Candy Grams Sales are going on now during lunches! They are $1 each and will be delivered on February 14th during 6th period. There will be five coupons for the school store hidden in random bags for $5 each!
SMS TEXTILE DRIVE going on now!! Bring in your bags of gently used clothing, shoes, bedding/towels as well as electrical items, toys, games, kitchen items, sporting goods, cd/dvd/books and knick knacks! If you collect 725 bags, our very own Principal, Mr. Klundt will do a smoothie Challenge at the next assembly! Bins for drop off are located in front of Student Store! Last day for drop off is Saturday, March 10. Drop off your bags tomorrow!!!!

Veterans Day Assembly
Stanwood Middle School students and staff would like to invite Veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces to attend our annual Veterans Day Assembly on November 9th at 9 a.m. Veterans will be seated in a place of honor and will be recognized for their service. All Veterans attending will have the opportunity to stay after the ceremony to share refreshments with the students. We hope you can join us.
